Dredging and Wetlands Protection

This project focused on maintenance dredging, which requires strict compliance with environmental regulations and meticulous planning. Success begins with navigating the expediting process, where partnering with experienced architects and permit expeditors familiar with DEC requirements is crucial for smooth execution.

For this project, we adhered to strict cubic yardage limits and utilized a long-arm excavator for precision dredging to minimize impacts on the surrounding wetlands. The spoil site was carefully enclosed with silt barriers to prevent runoff and protect water quality.

Upon project completion, riprap shoreline revetment will be installed to reinforce the shoreline and prevent erosion. This approach highlights our dedication to delivering high-quality, environmentally conscious solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
