We expertly removed and replaced approximately 250 linear feet of deteriorated wooden bulkhead for this project, upgrading it with durable and environmentally friendly Synthetic425 ShoreGuard® materials. To protect the sensitive wetlands and adhere to environmental regulations, we incorporated a wave curtain and a recessed bulkhead return, minimizing disruption to the natural ecosystem.
The project also included constructing a 3x10-foot wooden ramp, meticulously framed with 6x6 structural framing for enhanced durability. We installed new deadman anchors and galvanized tie rods spaced at 8-foot intervals to ensure long-lasting stability.
We used gray synthetic decking to complete the bulkhead, secured with hidden fasteners for a seamless and professional appearance. This project demonstrates our commitment to delivering high-quality marine construction while prioritizing environmental conservation.
